As the weather starts to warm back up, it's a great chance to get those daily greens in the form of a smoothie!

As parents, we can implement a lifestyle habit where green vegetables are "the norm" in our child's daily diet.

Due to green vegetables and herbs containing a powerful number of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, the benefits are endless, including supporting liver function, alkalising the body, assisting circulation, aiding systemic cleansing, regulating hormones and preventing chronic diseases.

What are your go-to daily greens?

For me, I find the best way to deliver daily greens to the boys is through a Green Smoothie!

By now you would have realised it’s no secret that I am a huge fan of smoothies for both Mums and Bubs as it is a fast and easy way to deliver nourishment.

This is my go-to Green Smoothie Recipe for you to enjoy with your little one:
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 2 stalks kale
- 2-3 inches cucumber
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup spinach
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seed meal
- 500ml coconut water
Blend on high and enjoy!!
